Love the structure, wish the fabric was different

Shipping; I purchased this dress early Oct and it arrived on time (within 2 weeks) Overall dress: I chose this dress instead of the white faux silk one (with more reviews) since the structure and back (caplet with folds and row of buttons) was more accurate to the game. I plan to wear it for halloween and I also had the accessories so I was not too miff on the flowers and gloves so dress was more important that accessories. As expected, I modified to my height (I am at 5'2" and needed to shorten it 6-8 inches). Dress/ Pro: The structure/ design is great and it drapes great in the front. Koodos that there is a white polyester underdress connected so the skirt is flowly and keeps you warmer. Dress/ Con: fabric was satin, and more shimmery yellow than I expected. From the picture I was expecting off white with a bit of yellow (which is ok to match game in dim fireplace light) but it was more yellow and a bit delicate (wish it was not that easy to snag). The square neckline is bit low and I had to alter it Hat: package came folded in quarter. Has excellent stiff structure. After unpacking, the folds in held a nice shape. It is a bit heavy (leave a line on forehead when worn over 1.5 hours, so practice at home before going to event) Gloves: a bit thin and smelly. My friend who purchased daughter outfit received the same pair and was able to use her phone (touch screen) through gloves Flowers: as pictured, there are only two purple flowers (instead of three game in game) Necklace: not in description, generic flimsy. The chain would break and link would need to be snapped back together. Big bit of hot glue gun flowed to front Would I re buy? maybe. For others deciding: we warned, the dress and sewing/ structure is great, but the colour is more yellow (not off white).
